Young + Hungry

This is it Folks… What you have all been waiting for.. DJ HERO. I know, I know, seems corny as fuck.. and well you might be right, But with the money ACtivision spent on creating this one of a kind ‘turntable’ console and all the mash ups and in game characters, ( DJ AM is a secret unlockable dood! ) we here at Y+H are going to give a go. In addition to that we are sponsoring an event at The Modern with the good old ALMOST FAMOUS! ( NEOTERIC, DECEMBER FURCOAT & SAM DEMOE ) crew. We have been graciously giving a free console and we are going to be giving it away via raffle at 2 am on the night of the event.. So come down to The Modern ( 7 Alexander St – Gastown – Vancouver ) and have some good old fun, excitement, dancing and sexy times…

Shiiiiiiit, you thought OG Dj’s got salty with Serato, wait till every fat middle american kid is spouting off at the mouth about doing flares, or stabs, or wanting to enter the DMC’s. Here is the Premium Edition of DJ HERO. Basically, DanceDanceRovolution, but with a shitty plastic turntable. This edition comes with a ‘cooler’ looking ‘turntable’ device and a stand. Which only makes you look like more of a wanker kids… you should pretty much kill yourself now. More shots after the jump.

Here at Young + Hungry, there are only a few things that can get our attention and then keep it longer than an average television commercial. Of those things, Daft Punk and VideoGames, are very high ranked. So when I caught this little ditty on the interwebs, I was more than stoked to download and check it out. DA CHIP is a collaborative music project but together by THIS DOOD, and features  a number of great Lo-Fi/ChipMusic/GameBoy producers..
