Now, getting past my fanboy love for sci-fi, videogames, Neon, Futureshit, Daft Punk, when TRON first dropped in 1982, people lost their collective minds. The Original film was shot on film and then processed using some really creative post production techniques that are far too complex for me to get into.. plus using computer animation.. in 1982!!
